I've been wanting to get started in remote helicopters myself. If this is as good as you say, I may take the plunge with this one. Seeing as the US supplier is located in Florida, I'll probably wait a while before ordering. Things are a bit of a mess down there right now. Even their USA website is a bit slow right now. I see the replacement parts are pretty inexpensive. A real nice thing for a newby.
The EcoLite is also a highly rated one. I may look at it as well to compare before I buy. Wind is not really an issue where I live. Pretty much a desert, lol.
I did some reading about them and this one seems to be all over highly rated for beginners like me.

Yeah, this is a nice heli to start with, it's little brother is even better. But I'd still advice you to get a sim first, something simple, as that'll make the learning curve a whole lot less steep.
