I have a Siemens S40. I wouldn't recommended. It doesn't seem to get signals really well. If you can get a tri-band phone, do it. You won't be dissapointed. I used roger's AT&T as my provider. I use the pay-as-you go system and it works well for me. But i'd prefer a plan.

I Have a Nokia 6230 and a Samsung E700. Both phones are excellent and I would definately recommend them. They are both on the O2 network which provides a pretty good signal quality. The Samsung does have a better camera though.

I got a flip/camera phone thingy with an antennae thingy. I dont give a f**ks**t p**s what it is, it has good reception, and thats saying a lot by Lake Erie, where its like Alaska. I use Cingular so I can talk to my girl in FL for free 24/7/365.

i have a audiovox 8900 from verizon... i think so far they have the best coverage... ive had tmobile, cingular, and AT&T tried sprint for like a week but no good.... the only thing is that they charge for everthing and imean EVERYTHING like a ringtone dowload is like 7 bucks... i have a 800 minute plan for 59.99 a month which is pretty good and calling other verizon customers is free so it works pretty good... i like he service...
