Hi friends... or helper...

I need ur advice, I am using Asus P4S-X motherboard. This motherboard got build-in "Video Out". SO, i attempt to connect my PC to TV. I want to see my Computer display on TV. So, what I did was, I plugged Video Cable between the PC Video-Out to my TV's Video-In.

But the result was terrible, It displays nothing on my TV else than just a "Trash Display" where not showing my PC display but just something white, black, ... like beach sand in black and white...

I don't know what to do...!
Is there any special software oir driver to make my PC's Video-Out to work ???

Please guide me my friend... you all are seemed experts... give me advice on what must I do to solve my problem...

My advance thanx for You HELP !

but my friend...

My video/display card is "Gforce 2 - 64MB".
But the VIDEO-OUT is not at the Geforce Card !
The Video-Out is at Motherboard (Build-In) my motherboard is Asus P4S-X.

My doubt is how to make the VIDEO OUT to work ?
It seemed no Option or configuration for me to change the Rate.

So, what must I do now ?

Are you sure it's the P4S-X? According to Asus, the board has no on-board video

http://uk.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?langs=11&m=P4S-X

The backplate also shows no video connectors. Where are you connecting the cable to?

To get it to work on your TV you need to switch off the computer then plug it in, with my old 9600 I had to switch off then plug it into the TV then change my channel to the AV channel, if I had it allready on the AV channel it did not work. and you will not get a good display, if you had it plugged in and went to HWA the chances are you would not even be able to read the letters on the posts, it is OK for watchin movies but surfin the net and playing games where you need to read stuff is practically out of the question.

After reading ur posts, I tried all that you all said, but nothing seemed to work.

I am very sure that my Mother board is ASUS P4S-X and it has Video-Out feature. I tried as previous post says, where i turned off my PC and Plug-In the Video cable and connected to my TV. I also turned off my TV. Then, I turn on the PC, and Opened AV on my PC, but no differents, it was still the same Black Display with some trash display. I also tried to Turn On the TV first, continued by PC. The result was same.

So, I think true... Maybe my BIOS setting is NOT ENABLING VIDEO DISPLAY. So, How top Enable the Video setting on my MotherBoard BIOS?
I tried to search around the BIOS configurations but didn't find the option related to ENABLING my Viode-Out.

How to set my BIOS to enable Video-Out ?
Or any other way to make it work ?

As stated in my previous post the RCA socket is S/PDIF output. It is to use with digital sound devices. If you keep connecting your TV to it you are wasting yours and our time. Please RTFM, if you havn't got one download it from Asus web site.
