I have a geforce2 pro running under a windows xp system.
I have had no real problems until recently, i upgraded my graphics driver (to detenator 41.09) and when it restarted i got the POST and then nothing. i was left with the windows XP start up screen.
windows is still working in the background, and i can load music etc.
I have tried safe mode ... but still nothing. i have scoured the windows knowledge base and sent emails but noone can help. win xp does not aknowledge it as a problem so i dont even know which file is corrupted etc!
PLEASE HELP

Do you have a spare vid card laying around that you could try? If you get post and the xp load screen, could it be after you installed the drivers that the refresh changed and the monitor couldn't handle it? Just a guess... I would just put the driver back to whatever you were using before or try to change the resolution. If you know the short cut keys to move around windows, you could do it. All you need is a second computer with XP and voila, you know how to get to the control panel and into display properties to do it.
