i do not think it is possible i have tried looking i do think however some motherboards have bios's that actually override the cpu's locked multiplier allowing you to change it but i do not think they work very well. Asus have a bios i think that allows for this but i think its only on the lga775 motherboards that they have it on.

you need a 3.2e with SL7B8 and CO stepping and a asus mobo or some abit IC7 or AI7 can unlock it to.

I have a P 3.2e with Asus P4S800 and have overclocked it to 3.56 Ghz with no problems - on stock cooling and it is rock solid stable - with some thermal cooling I bet I could get it up to 3.7 - 3.8 range no problem. Asus boards are great for overclocking.

I have a 3.0GHZ Prescott with a Gigabyte 8S648XP-RZ..Would it be possible to unlock and overclock this system?
