Well so much for eVGA cards getting the best cores. I have both a eVGA and a XFX 6800GT, and the XFX is a better overclocker. Not by much, but about 5 MHz. (they are going to be SLIed soon...)

I ran benchies at stock speeds. They were exactly the same (within the margin of error of about 0.5%).

...

I will come back with the results.

i would get BFG just because of the lifetime warranty they offer (maybe some other brands do too, i'm not sure). i recently had to replace my BFG 6800GT (although it seems the card wasn't the problem after all as the replacement card had the exact same problem) and i had my brand new 6800GT within two weeks of my first call to their tech support. i was expecting them to hassle me about it and make me go through all kinds of troubleshooting stuff, etc. over the phone but there was none of that. i just described my problem to them and had an RMA number within ten minutes. great service.

Man, I woulda" tried to get (2) of the same brand gfx cards for SLI

If the (2) cards don't "like" each other who do you blame?

Hope I'm not jinxing you

Well... I had 2 XFX cards, but had to return one to cyberpower. They sent be back a eVGA. They are Identical in every way other than colors... examined the PCB, and looks identical. I am going to write a review on it one of these days... once I get a powersupply that handles SLi.
