  Burning songs into CD problem

ive successfully burned songs into a cd-rw thats 4x and it stores 80 minutes or 700 mb (702mb to be exact) but, when i play it on the cd player, or my computer or anywhere, the last few tracks sound sputtered or they usually dont play at all

i need to know why its like that, could it be the cd speed? (4x) the burner im using, or what?

FYI: i used Windows Media Player 10, RecordNow! (which most obviously sucks...), and MP3 CD Converter (i thought it would work if i put in mp3's instead of cda it might work, but no)
