Hmm no SM3.0+ just another SM3.0 GPU its Sad
OpenGL2.0 Cool
But Skip this Sh*t get the Gen after this series Unreal future Engine will support PhysiX chip which is not available in 7800 or Fudo so both are plain Sh*t wait for the next Gen until then 6800GT & X800XL will serve you well

PEACE! alright??

What my point is that 7XXX & Fudo Series of GPUs only offers the chunks we already got in our Market wait for the PhysiX Chip your next GPU must have this chip.6800GT & X800XL are enough uptil the GPUs with PhysiX chip arrives. But its your choice if u got Extra $$$ to spear get the 7XXX or Fudo etc.But My Opinion is for mykinda poors :D

why not? 128 mb cards were around for a helluva long time, the old gen was 256 mb max and this gen is also 256 mb max, only now theyve started modding the cards in weird ways to fit an extra 256 mb.... i say 512 is too much, anything that really needs 512 mb needs crossfire or sli prob, unless these cards have some sort of non removable extra storage thingy going on....

"i can look cant i" --> well im not blindfolding you or anything....what do you mean???

anyway i dont see having 512 mb minimum across the geforce 7800 series being a minimum for a generation leap...besides even geforce 6800 series had a 128 mb

i want that damn physix upgrade card when are they gonna release the first version? arnt asus and some other companies supposed to get ready to make them?

http://www.tomshardware.com/hardnews/20050308_214530.html

"Nvidia was aware of the announcement, is in a wait-and-see position and did not appear to be too concerned about the PhysX chip. "We are approaching half a billion transistors in our GPU. I cannot imagine that we will not be able to do that on our side," said Ned Finkle, vice president of strategic marketing at Nvidia. He considered it "an interesting idea" but likely to be a "niche" solution and not a threat for Nvidia. Finkle also pointed to the hurdles firms such as Ageia face when bringing such a product to the market, including legal issues, marketing and distribution.

Kathleen Mahr, senior analyst with Jon Peddie Research agreed that Ageia has a long way to go to get some traction in the market. "You would be insane to do something like this without giving it some time." Hegde said that it will take time until a necessary momentum will be gained and Mahr believed that "the company is very realistic about this."

Actually Unreal Engine 3 is supposed to hit PC sometimes next year spring while one will hit X-Box 360 by the end of the year or in the first three months next year. I think G70 or R520 is going to be worth extra cost since R520 is supposed to be more powefully than 2 Geforce 6800 Ultra combined. And unlike SLI, you will see the performance gain automatically on a single R520. Does anyone know when R580 will hit the market? Is it supposed to be very powefully like R520 is to 2 Geforce 6800 Ultra combined?

ive heard that the g70 is the one to get not the r520 from this interview with a developer of the unreal 3 engine said which one g70 or r520 he replied "ohhh g70 for sure" but he also said a 6800 ultra will be able to handle the engine full detail 1280 x 1024 so alls gd no need for upgrade to one of these new cards just yet :P

I wish, but I doubt it. And if they do, it should be the last gen of AGP cards.
