Are you sure everything in that is trashed? You may be able to re-use the ram, hard drive, heatsink... etc.

Hard drive is damaged(can post BIOS then dies classic damaged HD sign) RAM is ok, heatsink has a snapped clip. Like i said, when i mailed it to nebraska it had malfunctions after delivery, this was with the videocard (i think may have been mobo), but it reallygot owned when i mailed it to ups so they could inspect damages(broken fans, dirt inside it, snapped heatsink, knick in the proccesor) How dirt got through 2 boxes, tons of peanuts, bubble wrap, AND my case.... i have no idea..

And since they have been VERY neglectful of helping me im gonna get as much $$ out of them as possible for 5 days now they have been saying: OK we will call you tonight about it. And its been 3 WEEKS since it showed the first signs of damage.

Arrghh getting mroe n more confusing : / Basically now tehy say they need EVERY part even if its a working part.. so i need a system for 1200 now. windows, case, psu, ram, wireless adapter card, everything. Again no prefrence on AMD or intel, just know im a gamer so 1gig of RAM is a must, and a good video card please. I was looking at stuff earlier, but just couldnt land in my price range : /

BTW i do not care for sound cards, since i only use a headset so dont bother listing a sound card.

ok.. i'm gonna give u like $85 to pick out a case.. not sure what you want.. thats personal preference

EpoXmobo:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813123236 - 107 (i have same one, and mothow will support it 100% i'm sure)

san diego 3700+
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103539 - 323

Video Card
X800xl - $295
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102509
(if its still out, either of these would be good too, same card)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102499
or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814123157

HDD:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144415 - $85

RAM:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820144310 - $95

PSU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817182002 - $55

your my savior :D

I was looking at colorcases.com then checking the ATX stuff. A lot fo it looked good, the PSU you listed is the one I had on my now broken rig, so all i have to worry about is a good ammount of fans.

the Newegg cases I looked at:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811166005

this one looks cool, and has a decent ammount fans, but no numbers displaying heat/fan speed or w/e.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811133130

this ones very promising, but is made of aluminum, like my old one and that didn't hold up well. So if I got it I would be very hesitant to ship it ever again. The first one i listed was a steel case (im asuming it is more durable). That aside thers heat n fan displays and a good amount of cooling power in this.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811144085

heres the last new egg one i was considering, Im hesitant, because it costs as much as the others BUT includes a PSU.. this leads me to think maybe its not as well built? Or maybe it is just a good deal, or maybe the PSU it comes with is cheap. Anyways good cooling, and heat/fan displays.

opinions? Or does one from colorcases.com seem better?

A bunch of cases? or OS. If it's OS i only have the one on my desktop (now ruined) and I cant do the thing to enable it to be re usable unless i can get into windows on the ruined desktop. I cant get past BIOS :x

Cases, nope only have one but they owned the fans on it during shipping : /

I got a wirless adapter chosen, chose a OS, the case i chose the last one i listed, I can always change(some ppl tell me aspire sucks), and I got a cd drive. I think im all set now $1203. So 3 bucks over but thats not a problem. The video cards out of stock till the 8th, so if need be I can always change my order around. Seems like we're done!

thanks a ton man, i would've gotten a much less powerful rig had I chosen my parts alone. Thanks!!

Do you play WoW, BF2, counterstrike, warcraft 3, or guildwars by chance?
