you could burn it to cd, or you could get an archive program like WinZip or WinRAR that will allow you to split it into smaller chunks that will fit onto the disks, or you could get a Gmail account and email it to yourself as an attachment, or you could get a USB pen drive and save it there, or if you have a ZIP drive (heaven forbid) you could save it on that...

Easiest way is probably the gmail account suggested. I won't involve other hardware, etc, so won't cost you a penny. PM me if you want a gmail invite.

You have to get some kind of invitation for gmail? http://www.hotmail.com will give you an e-mail account with a 25MB limit right away and you can send up to 10MB files. :)

I think WinRAR would be the best way to go. It can break the file up in to specific size on the hex level meaning no data is lost even though the file is broken into multiple parts and compressed. Only downside is you need WinRAR to access it again.

Yeah, you have to get an invite. Just email someone with GMail (like me), and they can give you an invite.
Gmail has 2+ GB of storage (always increasing), and a attachment size of up to 10MB. But, the best site for large email account, and large attachments it hriders.com/ 100TB (yeah, that's 100 terabytes!) of storage, and 500MB attachment. Unbelievable, but it's true. And it's free.

gmail is run by google, and you have to remember that google is now one the biggest media companies in america (bigger than time warner), so doing that for free shouldnt be too hard for them

I mean hriders.

I'm fairly certain that Google is making bundles of money from the advertisements to cover the cost of storage. They are also probably bargining on the fact that only a few users will actually use more than x percent of their available space.

no worries, andy.

that hriders thing looks interesting - 500 MB attachments? 100 TB? i'm skeptical, but damn, that would be nice.

I'm extremely skeptical on that. Who has that kind of storage to give away for free to the multiudes of people? lol

That's pretty nice, but it's not quite the same as 100 TB.

What's the catch on so much storage, I wonder?

There doesn't seem to be any catch, however, I'm not going to be using the account, I was just curious, god knows what kind of spyware or crap might clog up that inbox, the site was full of ads.....
