I am very happy with this product. Had it for over a year. No problems. I am presently running a 1600+ AMD Athlon CPU. I would like to know what is the highest AMD Athlon CPU this board will take, without modification.

That depends on what you consider a "modification". With a BIOS update you can run an Athlon XP 2600+/266 FSB. But they're getting a bit scarce since they came out with the 2600+/333 FSB.

If you do consider a BIOS update a "modification", then how high you can go depends on your BIOS version. Odds are that if you can run an AXP 1600+, then you can go up to a 2000+ without a BIOS update.
