Lower your graphic settings, I'm sure your videocard is the culprit. Why you ask? Because I had the same exact card and could only play Halo on low settings. I might be wrong... But there, hope it helps.

You've installed the latest video card drivers from NVIDIA, right?

well i have tried that but after i install the newest video upgrade, it totally screws up the movies on my hard drive. it knocks the video quality down. so im sticking with the version b4 the new one. that seems to be doing just fine.

does anyone else find a bit blocky compared to the Xbox version. I had the same problem with "Enter the Matrix" compared to console. It's as if the consoles have some variation on ATI TRUFORM. The games run fast and the edges are quite smooth. Just not as rounded.

Help anybody?

I dont have the full Halo game, but i have the demo, and it runs really good on my pc. So good, that i wish i good up the graphics quality more, just to slow my pc down a little. But with everything up all the way, my comp just screams for more.
I think the video quality issue your having was because of the bad drivers (77.72), if you go to the new 77.77 the video quality should be normal. So i would recommend you try 77.77, and also make sure the Halo game is updated all the way.
But i will say that the FX5200 is not a good card, but in lower-medium settings it should play it good (at a low resolution).

An FX5200 is still better than my Ti4200. It was good when I got it. But it lacks the power now. FEAR uses the GeForce 4Ti series as it's lowest spec system. So we're running into the days of obsolete soon for this card. Anyone sen any sign of Halo 2 for the PC.

hey thanx water drop that helped out alot. now it isnt as sluggish as it was before. it used to take like 15 seconds for me to kill a covie bastard, now it takes no time at all. its still sluggish here and there but not like it was. thanx alot man.

i couldnt use the 77.75 or whatever it was. (the one they released back in june or july) cause it would just totally mess up my graphics. so i had to roll back to the driver on the cd that came with the card. but 77.77 works great so i put it on a cd for backup.

again thanx.
