about the movies on the second monitor....

you have to go into the video properties and tell windows that the second monitor is your primary display.

about removing you screen.....

there should be what appear to be little round caps surrounding the face of the monitor, remove these and you should find some screws. If you are looking to remove the screen at the hinge there should be pop off plastic covers over each of the hinges to reveal bolt to remove. You will also need to partially disassemble the lover portion to remove the video cable if you are intending to remove the screen at the hinge.

right
i have removed the principle monitor and now i have the desktop one only.
Please dont ask how i removed it as all the computer purists will have a fit if they knew.
i am running win ME coz win xp runs slow.
do i have to put xp on it?
The second (now only) monitor works but you cant see movies and if you try to the mouse freezes..
So is xp the answer or is there a program i need?
The card i have have is a RAGE MOBILITY.

if you cant see movies then its the codecs that you dont have, download the "nemo codec pack"

It may not be displying the DT correctly because of the screen Rez, in the BIOS switchit to external VGA and turn off the LCD

Ebay the screen that you need if you cant get one cheap on there it not worth replacing as it cost just about as much or more than buying a used viao laptop.

you can google the removal instructions
