Nice PCGEEK, i take it the ATI card was fun to OC.

Good work all the same dude, nice to see someone at HWA doing there own tests
and comparing products.

It gives us all a honest view and is fun to see the results. Topman.

PCGeek's X1800XT is already not less than a 'Jet'., although with Water Cooling, it can touch 850Mhz Core easily.

PCGeek, but don't go over 1.35V for the Core.

Yeah, nice work PCGEEK.

RSA, what is going on with your IQ??? What driver revision are you using? I get better IQ from my 6600gt.

I only have the demo of Far Cry, I'll load it up later and take some screenies.

I really like the IQ from the ATI cards though, that x1800xt makes games look so nice.

No wheres that Rage 3d II (4mb) I have lying around somewhere.......

ya due to the built in MS drivers, ya i can tell you sumthin, my Grandfather had a Nvidia TNT card in his old P4 1.8 system, and it caused so many problems, he got rid of it and used a Radeon 7000 which didnt have a problem with it at all.

Well, I am using my girls laptop right now. A very slow Intel Celeron @ 398MHz w/ 298MB Ram. It also has an ATI 3D Rage LT Pro 8MB AGP 2x. It looks freaking good when watching movies on it & I also played War Craft 3 on it, but massive slow downs. But it's picture quality was amazing.

This system is temp for me because I am building my modded PC. Though, I think I went a little too crazy with it. 6 x 120mm Blue Led Fans & 2 x 80mm Blue Led Fans LOL, sheesh ;)

The ultimate screwed up part is that CompUSA doesn't have any Crossfire X1800 cards available, nor does anyone else locally. I can appreciate new technology, but I am not going backwards from an SLI, no matter how ancient, to a single card.
