I'll stick with Nvidia's 512 version AND THE GOOD OLE U.S.A.

XFX 7800 GTX 512 @ 608/1789

3D Mark 2005 10,049

Less on the core means less heat, and we all know that heat is the stopper of overclocks system wide Should have stuck with Nvidia.

Also note that their test system with these scores was a 3800+ and no Raptor RAID setup or watercooling

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Re: I hate PCGEEK

um blue my GPu runs 32c Idol 45c max load stock air thats cooler then yours i bet. so WTF are you talking about ? ATI run cooler ?

dude your like lost or somthing ? I killed his scores with stock air and runing cool as hell at that lol

Not to mention this card has a 3 year warranty with ATI and 2 year in store replacement. Cheaper then there by $200 and still better performance.

LOL, I think Blue still thinks that you have your water cooling setup with that system. Just a little missunderstanding that is all.:)

Well, some review sites say that the X1800XT 512MB on stock cooling ran hotter than normal, and hotter than what ATI said it will run. Once they took off the heatsink & fan, cleaned the GPU & GDDR3's, used a little Arctic Silver 5, it ran way cooler & with good temps
.

So, I think there is a correlation between stock coolers, crapy & too much thermal paste from the factoy = HEAT. And this goes for both ATI & NVIDIA. My friends 6800 Ultra Extreme x 2 run like you have the freaking stove on when gaming ;)

Can't we all just get along? :)

They're all video cards :) And Blue, the ATI is a great card too. Competition is always a good thing.
