ATI tech says that the card will last 2 to 3 years at this clock speeds as long as i follow his guidlines. Good enough .

10,706 pts 3D Mark 05 and I quote:

You beat the scores of a minor overclock on the 7800 GTX 512 with your machine MAXED OUT WITH A 4 DRIVE RAID 0 by not even 500 pts...

Face it, you got the wrong card.

unfortunately you had to sell your Peltier/Phase Change Cooling cause it kept on Causing your System to break, so you bought a Abit Fatal1ty mobo and now your back with a MSI Neo 4 that you originally had with the Peltier System, I say it is the PSU you bought. Also 10000 RPM Drives are old news and cost way more than a 7200 RPM drive that boasts higher capacities and higher performance per RPM.

Tom's Hardware review of "VGA Charts VIII: PCI Express Winter 2005" was done on Dec 2, 2005. Umm, they are using "OLD" ATI Drivers LOL,

And BLUE, why the "HELL" would you go out & buy the $850usd ($1050cad) 7800GTX 512MB which only performs quite nice, but lacks bright colourful image quality?

The X1800XT Rulzz in Price, Performance, Quality, Colour, Image & ;) I can go on you know.

BLUE, why not go out & by yourself a X1800XT, I bet you will not go back to NVIDIA until they come out with something new with better image quality. Who wan't speed when the game looks likes**t?

ATI all the way & that is FACT!!!

too late for him he bought an Nvidia board and intends on using its SLI capabilities, i dont think he cares if he is on top cause he can get decent FPS from 2 6800GS or GTs. Course he seems to have shut me out of MSN aswell, he doesnt even reply when i nudge him in MSN Messenger.

Blue, I cant remember the last time I saw a hard drive rendering graphics, so I dont think the RAID array can be used in such a statement lol

Haha, I suppose that the tests could be loaded before actually benchmarked, so maybe the RAID doesn't affect anything. It would certainly help the benchmarks to be loaded faster, and who really knows if that counts toward the overall score? They certainly listed the hard drive type in the benchmark setup as if it did matter... The overclocked processor and memory CERTAINLY DO, however, and the benchmarks on the 7800GTX 512 that I showed earlier with a score of 10,000+ pts with a 3800+ DEFINITELY should show you that the 7800GTX is clearly better. Speed IS image quality, the last I checked. If you're getting crappy FPS, then what image quality is there? Comparing still frames isn't reliable. That much has been made obvious through all of the picture comparisons that have been shown from time to time. It depends on the software and format of the picture, as well as the browser rendering... ;) It looks obvious to me that the 7800 GTX would CLEARLY have scored much higher, and most likely the image quality would have been BETTER, but oh well. ;) What do I care? I'm just here to let everyone know that ATI DOES in fact suck, and I have FACTS to back it up. I could go on and on...

myeh, i hope the word spreads a bit about the x1800XT... it being better than a majority of nvidia cards in SLI for a lower price... gota hope for the nvidia start to price drop to compete =p

I agree. The X1800XT is looking better everyday, and OC's quite nice too. I really want one, but my hands are tied because of the new cards coming in January 2006 ;)

Let's see what happends then,
