>> GT. Dont forget that this is my computer systems website, though it does link to the main site, it is to be classed as something totally different, so the tag line isnt correct on that graphic.

Then what do you want on it? Also, is that heading in the right direction or not?

Well, content area may be a little small, 800X600 screen size site is still standard..

Its a base of a design layout, so it dont look like a site to me, are you changing the menu to java?

The idea of leaving it open to exsperiments and fun in the designing of a website was the idea, not having to sit through each step. do what you think is best

I was playing around in Photoshop and the original background image isn't very big but I can change those images relatively easily. I design all my sites to expand to fill the screen.

You said the following earlier so I was assuming not:
"Dynamic may cause issues especially with changing systems, I can change some systems around once every 6 months, this may be a remake of a exsisting system or a new system."

Better yet, I could do it this way with PHP. It's a dynamic menu but is guaranteed to work on all computers--even those with JS disabled.

I'm going to shutdown IIS now so the site will be unavailable for the time being.

How experienced are you with HTML?

I was thinking that maybe you should make your entire site based on a single, good template. If you aren't very good with web languages or don't want to mess with it, maybe you could look into using a web template application such as Mambo or PHP Nuke. Just a thought.

There are no commands in HTML, just tags with attributes. That question was for Rory...

I used to teach people how to design websites using HTML, My PHP is rusty, Don't really do Java at all. Im quite lazy and use DW, but I look alot at its code view while using both code and wig

GT90, I can tell that you havent been on the site then??

Becuase of the way in which I do business, I have to keep each site looking slightly different due to the fact that they dont mix

Have you ever considered that disorganization has lead to customer loss?

Yeah I think that the main problem, the internet works on trust, and I dont take cards either (more hastle and costs) thats why people wont buy :) there is other options they can pay which is safe to both of us.

Last year I had someone try a scam, all my accounts got frozen for about a month, so that wasnt good for business :(

the computer site is not organised but its beeing hanging around for a year and needs to be updated so that its a bit more easier to find things and get what you want.

There is more comming with the updates happening on the website - i didnt delete it all "thew!"

Im trying to move everything IT related to the new site and the computer to another and then the weddings to the weddings as 3 different things and then a shop to tie it all together not just one big company... if you get what I mean. I dont think there is anything wrong with the shop, its just that I havent updated it for some time..
I got some one new working for me who was supost to update it before Xmas, but they havent.. I got some one else now so that may help get things done.
I hope to get things finished by April so that every things is upto date and all set up nicely and Then I can make some money.

Competion closed,

Well It was there for the taking and no one got there in time.

I have designed the new website and I'm about to add the new computers to the site and make it active in by next week.

IF you want a sneaky peeky you can see it here:
http://www.gtwcmt.co.uk/gaming-computers/index.php

As you will see, I have added to the site its own shop, but there isnt much to look at, so its closed untill I get all the computers ready for it.

Thanks to all who tried to design the site :)

Yeah I havent loaded all the graphics into the site which will give it some colour. I have just got back from working so Im off to bed, in 6 hours I will start on it again.

Ive only spec'd up two computer sytems for it, and it take me ages to config the systems.. about 3 hours per systems.. Well you have to have the right everything!!

:) Its got a tri colour menu :) Click 'choice' as its the only page I have finished

I like it a lot except for the banner, i think its not "edgy" enough for the design. its drab and brings the look of the page down. just my opinion though, i can take a stab at it if you'd like
