Hey its my first time building a computer and I got like 750 dollar limit on it(sucks). I looked at these parts and these looked like they would give me the best bang for the money I have. I'm a noob so if anyones got any comments or suggestions I'm all ears.

MSI K7N2 Delta
AMD Athlon XP Barton 2600+
Kingston PC3200 DDR512
Western Digital 80 gig
ATI Radeon 9800XT

MSI, ePox, DFI, Asus, or Gigabyte Nforce 4 board
1x512MB Corsair or OCZ value ram
Athlon 64 3000+ s939 venice
NEC 16X DVD Writer
+ 2nd Optical drive
450 to 500W good name brand but good priced psu (antec comes to mind)
ATX case whatever you want

If you get a case for under $80 it should be under $750.

My estimates make the above stuff I listed come to about $745

Thanks guys I just figured out that all those parts were hella old. My friend told me to get a socket A motherboard and thats**ts hella out dated. I pretty much found all those parts and they had pretty good reviews. out of the video cards I picked up the 7600GT I don't know to much about the technicals**t...but it sounded like this one performs pretty good. Thanks a lot.
