  PC1600 and PC3200 RAM???

Hi could i use a PC1600 and PC3200 RAM in the same machine? becuase the only diferece in the RAMs are the bus speed?

Not recommended. I'm pretty sure it will bring the PC3200 Ram down to the same speed as the PC1600...

Yes you could, but both sticks with run at 200MHz DDR, as Afrow UK mentioned earlier.

Confirming what Afrow UK and Supreet said, any PC3200 installed side-by-side with PC1600 will slow down to the PC1600's speed.

but if your motherboard does not support memory faster then PC1600, that isnt a problem at all.
But on the other hand, if your motherboard does not support any faster, u need an upgrade.
