Haha. Okay. But I might not get a Mac for a while. Cost money, ya know. Sold my AM2... fried my 1700+... nothing left to fall back on without any cash. Without a job either. Darn.

So screwed. Donations welcome. PM me if you feel like ... supporting... the... comp cause?

Miles Mulah Fund. Seriously. I'm broke. Haha.

Gimme money or give me.... a Mac?

Kind Regards,
Miles

No one's gonna give you money. It's not right to ask for donations on a forum.

Thats awesome A_Pickle. Hehe. I wish I could do that... but why steal someone else's idea? Wow. That explosion was so awesome.

Change his idea slightly.

This guy didn't know how to properly ask for money:
http://iwantamacbook.blogspot.com/

Or you can do one of those notebook4free things and go around spamming the crap out of everyone with your referral link and hoping you can get 13 referrels. But people will hate you for that.

*Sniff* Tear ... *Sniff*

I don't want to steal a person's idea. He was smart to come up with that. I don't want to just rip it out from under him. And how do I reward them back?

I can't blow anything up. I don't have the equipment to do it ... (ie cameras... explosives) and if I don't have a job, I sure as heck don't have permission to blow anything up.

Now if I could blow something up... what WOULD I blow up?

Thanks alot guys,
Miles

K guys. I got an idea.

Heres my plan.

.
..
...
....
.....
....
...
..
.

Operation: Big Mac
Location (website): http://www.HelpMeBuyAG5.com
Objective: Ask for $5,000 dollars to buy a G5 (decided to go with a G5 with a workstation card in it)
Reward: Fuzzy feeling inside.... and blow up a PC.

Method: PC will have a absolute ton of firecrackers that are soaking in gasoline. I light toilet paper and let it trace into the PC... and Ka-BOOM!!!!

Kind of lame... but its works. I don't have a high-powered rifle to do what they did... but I have a good amount of forest to do it in.

Regards,
Miles

Why would you spend $5,000 on an obsoleted Mac, rather than a new Woodcrest one where, at least, you can fall back to Windows if needbe?

Or just buy the Mac version for Windows systems which is supposed to be coming out soon (might be as late as 2008 though--can't remember).

That would be much cheaper, but to my knowledge Apple hasn't formally announced that Mac OS X will be marketed software yet, have they?

A friend of mine installed OS X on his Windows computer and the only problem he had was with Creative audio drivers I believe. And yes, I think they are planning to retail a boxed edition for for would be Windows buyers. I don't think it's coming until 2008 though.

I installed Mac OS X and the only problem I had was with the Creative SoundBlaster Live! drivers. Nifty.

Well... I bet it's more an unpleasant side effect to Apple and Creative's "cooperation" for the past few years. :D
