i'm a student electronics-ict and need a little help with an exersize in my book: problem solving with c++ by walter savitch.
the excersize wants me to write a program that conversts an weight from pounds to kilo's,
now the problem is we need to use at least 3 functions and a call by ref, now i don't see how to use the call by ref here because it can be done so simple in 1 function by just letting the program calculate the weight and let it print the solution to the screen.

anyone that could show me an example how to do it maybe that i can understand how to use it?

thx on advance, jean pierre
