Hi all,

Hopefully someone here can help and point me towards somehting I'm probably missing.

I recently just bought another Leadtek Winfast PX6600GT GT TDH to match my existing one. They are same revision and I've paired the BIOS. Individually both cards work perfect.

But I can't get them to run in SLI. I've installed them (with gold finger bridge thing and additional power), I believe all settings in BIOS (0016) etc... are 100% correct. I believe your supposed to go into nVidia Settings and theres an option, "nView Desktop Manager" where I can enable SLI. I don't get this option....!!!

I've updated Video drivers from 91.47 to 93.71

I'm running.
A8n-SLI Deluxe
Windows XP x64
4 x 512Mb Corsair
2 x 36Gb Raptors
2 x PX6600GT

Anyone help, please?

Cheers,
Gareth.

The option will be in your driver control panel

Hi dublingunner,

Thankis for the reply. But I've done all these steps. Thats what I mean, the options to go to SLI just do not appear...

As I said I'm using 93.71 graphics driver version and version 6.86 of "nForce4 series - Windows XP Professional x64".

Does anyone know if that is the correct one? Was there somethign else I should have installed?

OS was very recently re-built, with SP2 slipstreamed into the media alongwith version 6.66 of the nForce drivers. (Then recently upgraded to 6.86)

Thanks,
G.

ummm got it.

Swapped the cards over and it detected it and allowed me to enable SLI. :/

Maybe one card is a newer revision.... They seem to be the same from what is stamped on the PCB's.

Anyway, it's working. Now it's time to test them out!

Does your motherboard have a SLI Switch Card which is located inbetween the video cards? Have your flipped the card around so the SLI side is connected? The older SLI (Socket939)* mobo have this card where as the recent 32X SLI mobo (Socket939)*do not.

Yeah the card on the mobo had been swapped from single to dual.

But just swapping the actual graphics cards around seemed to make it work... I'm happy just tested out BF2. Seems better...
Thanks,
G.
