I have only played the demo of "republic commando" and thought it looked ok. i have played "kotr, the sith lords" And just loved it. Is this pack worth buying? If so which of the games are still worth playing, and which arnt worth playing?

I know kotr is about $20usd new, but i forgot about this pack and ordered it from eBay last week for $10/s&h (used)

I find that either star wars games are very good, or about the worst games ever made. So is this pack worth the $40 or is the only one of the games worth playing the kotr? Is that even still worth playing since i never have?

I also wont pay a monthly fee to play the online star wars game.

Thanks guys.

The first KOTOR was way better than the second. WAY better.
I haven't played Empire at War, so I can't tell you if it's any good.
Battlefront (in my opinion) was just BF1942 with a Star Wars skin. That can be a good or bad thing
Jedi Outcast was so-so, IMHO
I haven't played Republic Commando.

Is it worth it? Yeah, I'd probably say so. Maybe wait till the price drops a bit.

Hey nice find on that Star Wars pack. I just might buy it. There are a lot of good games there. My favorite would be Republic Commando just cause it's pretty damn cool (only played the demo) and the demo of Empires at War was very fun.

I have it, Empire at War is ok for a while I guess, not a huge fan myself, but it's definitely worth it just for KOTOR and Republic Commando. Battlefront isn't too bad either...kind of a cheapened version of BF2/BF2142 (IMO, others love it).

For non-Star Wars fans, Republic Commando and Star Wars Battlefront are good (not great games) for the Star Wars franchise. Not great in you would play it over again and again after completing the game. I put more hours playing STBF than Republic Commando....it's fun and the learning-curve for each weapon/vehicle is easy and less forgiving than BF2. STBF graphics are not as good as Republic Commando. I'd say you will not be majorly dissapointed with either. Legos Starwars is another fun game.

I dont know if it is way better. I would say they are almost equal. I am really really enjoying the game. I didnt expect it to be this good. If you havent played either of these games get the first one first. If you play the second one first a few surprises are spoiled.

The graphics are of about equal quality. I was surprised by that. the story line is great as well. These are must play games.

I was disappointed in the story for KOTOR 2. And the goal just didn't seem to grab me as much. KOTOR 1 kept me up into the wee hours of the morning, just trying to get that next piece of the map, unlock that next piece of the story. Who was Revan, what is the Star Forge, and all these other questions I felt I had to answer, or my life wouldn't be complete. KOTOR 2 didn't seem to grab me the same way. :~
