Awesome! AMD Rules! Everyone always knew they were the better choice financialy but now they are proving to the world that they are the better choice technologicaly! Which I always knew myself!

I don't think it will but I dont think many people at this time. The Later Athlons really didnt have a problem w/ heating Just ran a little warmer than other chips.

I'm glad for Athlon and that they finally got this out. They were falling behind just barely in test by Intel but now its time for Intel to step up to the plate. New 64 Bit be a good new addition for Athlon. Time to see what it will do for athlons as a whole.

in the near future, everything will require more power(games peripherals....) soon 1024mb ram will be standard, and so will these procs, not that you need them for average and intense gaming.
