Considering buying a new phone in the near future

Ok so i've had my phone for about a year now it is a palm treo 680 I love it way better than my previous nokia 6230i. Anyways me being me is starting to think it is time to get a new phone. I would really like to get a new treo perhaps but the 680 is the only palm I know of where I can buy an unlocked gsm version. I can eventually get the treo 750 because my cell phone company cellular one is being purchased by at&t, but I am also looking at other phones. The Nokia N98 8GB is starting to look pretty amazing to me, but I'm not sure if I can get it unlocked, and I'm not really wanting to go back to using a number pad instead of a full keyboard. I use alot of the features on my treo considering i'm a college student and when I happen to be away from the laptop it is great to work on assignments, papers, and things like that on it so I am looking to get a phone that has great features like that. Well actually me being me I want a phone that does as many things as possible thats why I got my treo. Anyways I am wondering what you guys think and if you would be able to help me with any advice or recommendations on phones or at least be able to help me weigh the pros and cons of my choices so far and other possible equal or better choices.
