After many hours of playing through it over the past 3 or 4 days, I am finally done with the game. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but I have a few things I want to point out about the game. I enjoyed it for the most part but there was just some stuff that annoyed me so much

Game Glitches causing me to restart a few checkpoints back
First off, the AI gets screwed up sometimes and causes you start back at a earlier checkpoint to get passed it. For example at one point in the game, some of the aliens were getting stuck on boxes and walls and even a vending machine. When they got stuck it appeared they were dead and I was able to go up to them and whack them but they weren't registering as dead and so I couldn't trigger the next batch of aliens to fly in. So I had to start that part of the game over again about two or three times to finally get through it without any aliens getting stuck.

Earlier in the game, I blew up the ship and the helicopter blew up too so there was no helicopter to shoot down afterwards meaning that I couldn't trigger the checkpoint. So I had to go back a few checkpoints and then I did it all over again and guess what? The helicopter got destroyed by the boat blowing up again. Finally on the third time the helicopter survived and I was able to shoot it down myself to trigger the checkpoint.

Crysis in low settings
I only have a Geforce 6800 and so I was only able to play the game at all the lowest settings at 800x600. On the box it lists a minimum of a 6800GT. I also have a little less then the recommended amount of ram. But even at these low settings, the game was very fun to play. I enjoyed the whole thing except for one level in the middle...all I'll say is that the level was sort of underwater. That level annoyed me so much. The rest was very fun. The game doesn't look pretty in low settings, but I'd still recommend you buy the game even if your system can't play it in anything more than low.

Conclusion
I recommend the game, it is worth it for the single player alone. This game has some glitches but it is one of those games that will remind you why you are a PC gamer. It will remind you of why the PC is still the number one gaming platform out there. Simply, no other platform offers the possibilities that a PC can offer to game developers. I have yet to play the multiplayer part but I guess I'll try it soon now that I'm done with single player.

Questions? Comments. Thoughts?

LOL ;). I thought these glitches are things of the past. We got much more powerful CPUs and GPUs nowadays. I guess the programmers, most likely, were not given enough time to code more robustly.

The aliens getting stuck were very disappointing, but still it is an amazing game.

Amen. It would have been a better game had they just ended it there. So very very lame... :/

What really annoyed me...one of the checkpoints just after all thes**t goes to hell in the mine, I loaded it and EVERYTIME i run and jump over an obstruction of filing cabinets I die...and it only goes away if I reload again. Also, random stuttering annoys me. I also hate it that you can kill yourself by running into a tree/car/any inanimate object. :(

Same for me. I guess I was the lucky one. The only serious bug that I found was when you kill the 2 KPA tanks at the beginning the objectives list wouldn't update no matter how many times I loaded the last checkpoint. I went online and found the simple answer : "follow the river" I ended up in the cave with the story back to normal. There were AI issues were sometimes they got dumb or ignore me after I shot them but everything else was ok. The zero gravity part made me a little dizzy and nauseous at the beginning but one I got the hang of it I was blasting aliens right in the face. Although annoying for some of you that was one of the most creative levels I've seen. Hmm... what else, the nano suit combines with the excellent graphics and atmosphere and are the best I've ever seen in a game, it made me feel like I was Nomad and everything I could think of making could be done. I had 3 or 4 major stutters in the game, but only the first time it didn't happened after I reloaded. After you get out of the zero gravity cave the game explodes with creativity and lt's time to fight the super god damn awesome aliens.

Overall I enjoyed the crap out of this game, even though a few bugs were annoying it didn't kept me from finishing the game and having a memorable experience, it would be weird playing any other FPS since I think they can't compare to Crysis. Best game of the year. And probably best FPS ever made.

Totally agree with you on this. Plus, the nano-suit gives a plausible explanation for your character to be seeing the HUD elements (radar, ammo counts, etc), rather than the usual suspension of disbelief that's required. I tell you though, between the cloak mode and the speed burst, it sure makes going back to other FPS games difficult - what do you mean I can't take on 15 guys at once anymore??? =)

I just spent the whole day figuring out how to get it to run on Daemon. So far it's creep through the bushes go to cloak kill people creep through the bushes go to cloak kill people. I'm at some bridge with mine fields now. Except I was dying but it was silent so I couldn't figure out what the hell was killing me till I stood up and saw the mine field signs.. Oh well back to creeping through the bushes. And what's up with "cloak" anyway. I feel like a damn Romulin. And the head guy whats his name el hefe or something, is starting to annoy me. "There's bad guys ahead better switch to cloak mode" Well DUH! STFU! I've been playing far cry over for a while. It's cool cause it was long enough that I forgot about half the stuff. See getting forgetful when you get old CAN be a good thing.

Hahaha :D the filing cabinet thing happened to me once too..... also ran into a stationary vehicle once and died, reloaded and gave the vehicle a wide berth :D Just hate the way that it takes soo much firepower to take down the enemy soldiers :/
