well i got my first BSOD a couple days ago. i didnt think much of it just restarted and
ran memtest, the test ran for about 9 hours got 34 errors on one line. i dont have the line info because im at work at the moment. so i set up a RMA for my memory
and waiting to hear back from corsair. so last night i ran prime95 from twelve to about ten
with no errors, i did the blend test(so it test the ram more then the cpu). so now i started the small ftt test to test cpu and im waiting to get home to see hows that turns out. so im trying to narrow down what could be. i guess im just going to have to by a new pc:)
but i guess i wait to see what the FTT test results are.

I take it you're OC'ing yes? If so tell us your temps, volts, etc

Ah right, well that's no good. Does sound like the ram, but you have to try get
the BSoD error and type it on here so we can try figure it out

ok well just got home from work, check the prime95 TTF test. Ran for 12 hours, no errors!
so what caused this BSOD? i dont have a clue im going to try update the bios and run memtest one stick at a time and see what happens. ohwell i guess its a good thing, but i know there's BSOD lurking around the corner!

TBH I don't think 1 Blue Screen error is a reason to be worried, the BSOD may have been a hiccup like a windows getting it knickers in a twist :) as it does, if you were getting frequent BSOD's then that would be a different story. as for Memtest ive never really been a fan of these Mem Checkers, I personaly have had them give me errors on the RAM when infact my room was really hot and the comp was heating up a bit, Ive also seen them giving errors then when ran again give a different result..
