After a what turned into a heated debate on a motorcycle forum.. I though I would take this here:

Most of us are logical people and base most of our knowledge of science and facts, no doubt there are some religious people on this form and I hipe I do not offened them in my knowledge on life after death, and the creation of life.

Its a bit half hearted as I was using windows movie maker to make the video and it crashed a few times.. Damb it..

So here is a link to the video. you may have to read between the lines a little to make a fuller picture.

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/7S9k4Sxr_Hc&rel=1"></p...;<param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/7S9k4Sxr_Hc&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

If that dont work you can see it here : http://youtube.com/watch?v=7S9k4Sxr_Hc

it theme is that we are atoms and energy..

What do you think??

where dose it begin?
electrical pluses?

who wrote this?! Anyways, it's true that after death you're becoming a food chain (or what's left of you) but what a nonsense with your energy being still alive?! The moment your brain stops functioning, that's it, there are no more living organisms in your body - "energy" (talking in the words of the film), can not be synthesized anymore. The video does have a religious motive in a sense of reincarnation but that's not science. Even if it came down to that, why there is no mentioning of a soul?
In any case, it depends what kind of views you're sharing - either religious (psychological) or pure scientific (facts and experiments). But calling us energy means to extend the meaning of energy beyond rational comprehension.

I believe it's not really the "meaning" of life because some choose to ignore it. It is, however, a function of life: that is, survival of the species. Everything living takes part in some form of reproduction activity so it has to account for something.

...

"Meaning" is what ever you live for on top of what your animal instinct requires--something animals don't have. More or less, the "meaning" of your life is the goals and aspirations later generations will remember you by even if it isn't necessarily remarkable nor favorable. What is/was your impact on your surroundings. Answer that and you will find one of potentially many "meanings" for your life.

For instance, the major "meaning" of Martin Luthor King Jr.'s life was that of equality for colored peoples. Albert Einstein's was his many works in addition to his incomplete "theory of everything." For some, their meaning is as simple as seeing their children grow up and be successful or helping those in need. It's different for everyone and may change throughout one's life.

Nah, on a serious, but very brief note...

We are all energy. Energy never dies. So i see life as a cycle. When you die, your
body dies, but your soul (energy) lives on. It's free until it finds its next host
ie, a foetus. A newly concieved being or entity. I guess that's why few ppl can
see into past lives - theirs.

I watched a wee bit of that vid. I've always had this theory that our bodies are the
host to the living thing - the brain. Everything works for the brain, The heart, lungs, etc
to keep that "entity" alive. Seeing that pic of the brain, and all the nerves in that vid
on youtube, is the way i see how we really are if that makes sense?
I also see the brain as a reciever for energy too - not thru food, but like the energy's
also being transmitted to it from other sources. It fascinates me how we absorb each
others energies. Like when two ppl have an argument, the one who loses the argument
feels like their energy has been sapped - and it has - by the other person who
won the fight. Or when you arrive at the train station to commute to work feeling
happy, only when you get to your destination you are feeling low, and miserable
because you abosorbed all the negative energies from the other ppl on the train
who have a depressing day of work ahead of them. And vice versa of course.

if you take the food chain and actually break it down some.. say the atomic level, you can find that plants that we eay are energy made by photosyntisis (spelling) Say a cow eats the plant, and we eat the cow. it becomes the food chain.

When you think about you are what you eat, it sort of puts you off eating LOL... anyhow different things make different energy and this is used and transered, as Einstien states and as we should all know as common knowledge energy dosent go anywhere, its simply transfered. Take for example the car, trees die and make oil, oil make fuel. fuel makes energy and drives the engine around, when we stop the energy is converted to heat (on the brakes)
so as you can see its transferance.

So when your shakin your a$$ makin Love, your are making energy or using it to build things. take for example sperm, there like little lives of there own, a bit like a may fly as they only live for 24 hours and those little buggers know what they are doing like they have a mind of there own. so they must have energy to move and know what they are doing.

Dont forget the mind/brain works of chemicals as well, so you have two points, chemicals from food and engergy from food.

When you die, you are still engery, the thing is that as your brain is physical and youre the sum of your life, these are written in the brain and a tangible thing, not like an energy bubble.
So while you there energy you lives on, the memories and who you are and what makes you you dosen't continue as such.
So where dose the energy go?
I guess is that it is transfered back to the earth, you see static storms (lightening) and we know this is energy, this leads me to thinking that the dead give off energy that mixes with the other dead. then it goes back into the food chain and the living... then back around agan.

This is supported by the life starting from historical accounts that the world was a stormy place at the begining of time and full of storms, then life apreared in simple forms, perhaps we developed residual memory over time that changed how we did things and developed into different bodyments and so forth.

On the flip side, Ouija board can contact the dead, so it may be quite reasonable to suspect that when we are dead and leave energy this can be communicated with. Much the same as people see ghosts etc..

It certainly opens a differenet ball game to look at and they seem to repate well together....

The meaning of life... hmm...

I'm not convinced that there is any real "meaning" or "purpose" for life from any sort of philosophical standpoint. In my opinion life is what you make of it.

We are all one, all connected, part of a bigger entity of energy where we will return when this present form of energy which we reside called our bodies decays.
