I wish we could, but it's risky. The main problem is that just about any meaningful "fight" that they'd pay attention to would involve doing something that in the US is a federal computer crime (e.g. Denial Of Service type attacks).

Most of the SPAM posts are pretty obvious and I think it's pretty easy to use the "report abuse" button to get most of them quickly deleted by the admins...it's usually within a few hours.

Lets assume that there is an "undeclared war" against the Chinese invasion, or intrusion.
If there is one, it started about 7 or 8 years ago, if not before.
Now the US government, would never allow, much less support the "war", so it does not exist (at least on the STATE level).
DoS, DDoS measures are not officially supported by the US government, on any level.
As of right now, no one having taken part in the penitration of the Chinese government (and by default) any Chinese site has EVER been even investigated or officially procecutted by the US government.
So who's to say that NO actions have taken place on eirther side.
BTW, You can include the old uSSR, Romainia, France, Israel, etc, in the undeclared WAR, as well as some emerging governments and entities.

Why is there still no preview on here? Every other forum has one but not this one.
There's 11 pages for this particular thread, but I don't have the time to look through
and see if this point has been validated and work in progress? But I'm sure a preview
is less of a task than most other suggestions that have been put forward.

....I'm back, but only as a part-timer... :)

Tam, mayhap it is because it is one of the more free flowing "off topic" or even "on topic" boards available....then agian, maybe not.

Bravo to Mr. Admin for nice additions of post statistics in the profile page. 8)
Can't believe I've been here 5 years already! Time goes in only one direction,
sadly.

So who's got the lowest mean time between posts? ;)

On the "Popular Topics" page, I noticed that it now only shows topics that have been replied to recently. Is there any page with the old style of showing all topics?

Any way to get it so that we can paste images right into the text of a message?

LOL McFly. ^_^

Nice smilies additions. What I really want to see is the XD smilie. Don't think it's easy to do in a tiny square, though.

I remember I did some smilies suggestion years ago here... searching...
Ah Ha! http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/61345/?o=160

Gladly the imageshack links are still alive after 3 years... usually they're very short live. Here are some of the ones I suggested in 2006.
