  How to handle BIG Outlook?

Hello all,

I suppose I am not the only one in the forum facing problems with Outlook and its 2 gb limit. Actually, it is more than that: as I save mails (received and sent), the files get bigger and bigger and Outlook also works so much slower.

What is the best way around this problem? Is there a way I can, say, save the emails from the whole year on Dec.31 (for instance, in my documents), erase them in Outlook, start fresh new 0kb files,... but be able to access those mails in the saved archives if need be?

Thanks for the help!

I don't use Outlook so I'm not sure if this works but googling "archive outlook" turned up this, looks promising:
