bsod - and windows error messages - , windows reporting it cant boot cos files are corrupt - even in safe mode ... i got it to run for a few minutes , sent an error report to microsoft , they suggest a windows memory diagnostic tool . i ran it and my 15 month old [not cheapo ] ocz memory has failed wtf ? .... i installed a very cheap stick of ram i use to test systems , and all the problems have gone ? i am not impressed , i have used geil , and elixir ram before as it was very cheap , and it still works [3+yrs old ] .. is ocz rubbish , or have i been unlucky ?

The only OCZ product I ever used that I thought was of high quality, was a power supply. I never had good experiences with OCZ memory either in my own computer or in other systems I've built.

I usually stick with Corsair. I've just had the best experiences with them.

The only OCZ RAM I've ever run is 2 x 1GB (Platinum??) DDR400. It's in my "Folding @ Home" computer and it runs day and night. No problems after many cyber-miles.

I've used Corsair XMS2 and G.Skill in my other systems.

i bought the ram from dabs , but their website says to send it back to manufacturer , [ sure thats against the sale of goods act here in uk ] any way - i went on ocz website , created an rma ticket as instructed , and that seemed to be it . so i mailed them , and there response - " create an rma ticket " . i can see now how companies sell there products so cheaply -- they hire idiots to answer customer concerns . not impressed with dabs or ocz at all
