  Killed my system, which componant?
 Date Written

I had my c2d 2180 at 2.5... And decided to push it a bit further (2.66) and after I did that I noticed my system was quite unstable.. So I put back the settings and now my system is still unstable.. Same issues... Antivirus won't load up, xfire crashes on load... boot up and shutdown is extremely slow... So I thought I messed the registry, so I tried a system restore from safe mode, and that froze 3/4 of the way through.. I even left it for about 15 min incase it was just very slow.

Also, I've noticed my temp's are up now too.. Around 51C for my cpu, and 48C for my mobo... Usually these are both in the 30's. And all settings are back to normal with no OC..

Any advice?

You sure you changed to default settings in the bios? You should specify your motherboard and other system specs so we can help out more.

Everything I write is Sarcasm.
