Sometimes I misspell fcuk :(

In that case, sir, you can substitute with the word "Fornicate". For example.

Before: F**k you, you F**king F**ker!! (Note I censor myself to be more civilized. ;) )
After: Fornicate you, you Fornicating Fornicator!!

Now we all will all stop using that word, since it's too damn complicated. XD

Actually I've heard that it was an acronym for:
For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge
Back during the days of the puritans for putting people in stocks for carnal intercourse outside of marrige, or bad positioning.
It's also the name of a Van Halen album.

Ok, I have a general English question. ;)

When do you use "-ed" or not for the words below?
For example, which of these are more correct?
- Advance Technology vs. Advanced Technology
- Enhance Performance vs. Enhanced Performance

Another one that always bothers me, Iced Tea and Ice Cream. Why not Ice Tea and Iced Cream? XD

iced tea is a substance that has been cooled or iced down. Ice cream is a product, cream that has been cooled till ice crystals formed changing the physical properties of the cream, whereas the tea is still the same, a liquid. It just has cold crap floating in it. I don't know what's up with Ice T though, unless it's his cool composure with his hand on the trigger or in this case, the "t"

No. If you're on about txtn another mobile/cell phone, well then that's shrt hnd txtn.
Wen I 1st startd out n here lng ago, I'd type mst of my psts like this!

Actually, when I first started visiting forums, it was all shorthand typing. On here, you
rarely see this, in fact, you rarely see it these days in most forums. Probably because
the geek has been pushed out due to the versatility of the average user these days.
Everyone has access to a PC these days.

The point of this thread McFly... Is it to do with words when you write or typo errors
or just in general?

I know that some people spell probably as "proberly" and beautiful as "beutiful" or even bootiful pmsl!

However, I have eggsellent gramma, as i've bean to a privite skool, and my speling
qualitees are sekond to three.

Oh how about the word "Gauge" I've seen some terrible errors of spelling in that word.

....I'm back, but only as a part-timer... :)

I remember a short story in which no one could spell or calculate due to thier reliance on computers, and this was written well over 2-3 decades ago! Are we now reaching that fictional level?
I know of people that can't figure out 6 or 7% tax on $50 without a calculator, and these are some smart people!!!!

I'm just wondering....
