Get a soundcard. Some people will tell you to get the XFI Xtreme Gamer but don't, it sucks. Instead, spend less and get the Xtreme Audio card. It will work great for games, music and video. The Xtreme Gamer sounds terrible for anything but games. The Killer Nic looks a bit like a waste of money but if it actually does what it says I could see it's worth.

Have fun with you're new HD4870 man! I'm sure you'll be happy.

No problem dude. You need PCI or PCI-E? The Xtreme Audio is PCI-E, yes, but your motherboard should support it...what is your motherboard?

NIC cards are proven to be a gimmick with very little in the way of improvements.

Yeah the killer NIC, The amount of reviews on that card I have read that says it does very little to enhance a ping is crazy.

The card doesn't seem to be on Newegg! You'll have to buy it from another site, get it though it's great.

Wait...you have a GTX 260? Why were you thinking of getting a HD4870 then? Or did you get that instead? Honestly I don't see anything you can really improve in that rig that is worth spending money on at this time. The only thing would be your harddrive. Look up the Samsung Spinpoint F1.

I wouldn't upgrade a system with those specs yet, unless you have a really high resolution monitor (1920x1200 or higher) then you may find it worth upgrading to dual GTX 260s in SLI.
