O.K. Upcoming Piledriver is set to go in production & release for Q3 2012. AMD is aiming for a 20% or more IPC performance boost over current Bulldozer - CLOCK FOR CLOCK.

Do you even know what IPC stands for?

Yes, something about internal process communications or something. Multi-threading efficiency right? :_)

As for this thread, I've been scanning thru the discussions. Let's face it, it's been two years already for the development of Bulldozer. I don't think it's going anywhere. But I do look forward to the Piledriver APU chips, which could help AMD gain a lead in the on-die graphics and low power consumption PCs departments.

AMD already does well with LIano. Trinity should easily blow Intel's APU out of the water. Piledriver coupled with the HD 7000 series graphics should make a big performance leep even over LIano by as much as 50+%.
