What are you on man? This's a free MultiPlayer game. I think folks expect too much these
days. I think it'll be a good game, and because it's free. Look at Enemy Territory - that
free online game has been around since 2003 and still going strong. No other online game
has lasted as long as that.

Well for a start it looks graphically like one of the popular and successful games ever in BF2, with a mix of BFBC2, so if they get the hosting right it could very well be huge. I have my reservations but I dont think it will be that great especially if it free, I mean they cant even fix the bugs in the games we pay for never mind these one.

Ah right I get it. We're back to graphics over game-play again. The usual rotational graphical/game-play dispute that frequents HWA. On one hand the graphical merits of one particular game don't matter and on the other they do. I think it's hilarious to hear some in here talk about same old same old, when really, the game play's never changed since day one. A shooter's always gonna be a shooter - some war based scenario either the typical world war or the sci-fi. Same for driving, it's going to be either off road or sim. The nxt game will be the same tracks, but different graphics. So most folks here are a bit contradictive to say the least. Anyway, all i wanted 2 point out in the thread was that it's free and shud be good fun, but everyone moans

Cant say I was ever a big fan of the BF series, but hey if it's free, what is there to complain about? I found usually that the BF series was too stressful pc wise to ever make it as popular as say CS or ET or something similar, but once again, if it's free I'll probably give it a go. Who cares if its a generic MP shooter, its not like they are charging $60+ for it...

Exactly Maestro, it's free. Besides I don't know why many are arguing about this. Most of you already own Battlefield 2 and don't even play it. Then all of a sudden comes this free rehash game and you start complaining.

I wouldn't mind giving it a go. I tried Battlefield Heroes and it was fun for about 2 weeks for me, then I stopped playing happily and put it aside without regrets, it was free after all.

Everything I write is Sarcasm.

Why is it that liking better graphics is a sin now? I personally believe that better graphics help immersion.

This play4free looks like BF2, and while it was a good game why do we need it released again for free?

BFBC2 is great, roll on Battlefield 3.
