"You have files waiting to be written to CD" (edited)

Every time I sign on to Windows XL, I receive an alert that says: "You have files waiting to be written to CD. To see the files now, click this balloon."

I click it and it brings up a directory for my X drive, which is my DVD burner. There are no files listed there.

How can I get rid of this annoyance?

I run Windows XL SP3 with all updates. I burn DVDs and CDs with Nero Burning ROM

I solved this problem by booting Windows XL in safe mode. When the warning appeared, I clicked the balloon, and this time a different directory window appeared with a file in it. I deleted the file, rebooted in normal mode, and the warning no longer appears.
