So you know in Oct. 26th I had my rotator cuff surgery. The rotator cuff muscle was ripped at the attachment point with a 3CM tear. I had been suffering with this for over 3 years till I was finally able to talk my doctor into doing an MRI. I think he thought I was lying/exaggerating to get pain meds till he saw my MRI report. Upped the strength and doubled the does and quantity. Well things were looking up. I wasn't getting woken each time I turned in the bed and the range of motion was coming back quick. Then, I got into an altercation with a train. Due to the drivers negligence my bicycle got caught between the side of the train and the platform and the driver who wasn't looking in his rear view mirror to check it was clear, took off with me and my bike. Most things i can handle but I'll admit I got scared and using the ensuing adrenalin rush used all my strength to rip the bike free. The next morning I was in fuducking excruciating pain. Called the doctor and he said he doubted the plates the rip was reattached with was damaged (said they were very strong) so told me to keep going to rehab for another month to see how it goes. Finally I got him to schedule an MRI again cause it was getting worse not better (don't think he believed me). Today I had the MRI. They said the doctor would get the report in about 3 days. Tonight at 8PM he calls me (you already know this is gonna be some bad news). This time the entire muscle has ripped away from the shoulder and the tear is bigger than the one originally repaired. So I'm going to go under the knife again. Now if you saw me you might ask why I am so happy. That's easy. Cause I'm gonna sue the snot out of those bastards. 2600K here I come. Car, here I come. Pants without holes, here I come. I'm just so freaking happy. Now if I can just get him to kick those oxycodones from 15mg to 30 mg, my adventure will be complete. Well almost. I may end up throwing a couple of hookers into the mix. I think a 3 way would be great rehab, don't you?

You can either be part of the problem or be part of the solution.

Sue that doctor for negligence and the driver too, you deserve some settlement for having to endure that. My father had a similar injury and I know how awful it is to your body, the pain is so intense that he couldn't sleep until the meds knocked him out, he always sat on the couch watching TV and movies until 3 to 4 AM where the meds will put him to sleep.

No no! The orthopedic surgeon and my primary care doctor are both great. he (the ortho doc) did a really good job. I'm glad he's doing the repair. I have a really high pain tolerance so I don't show how much pain I'm really in. Should have whined louder. I had x-rays a bunch of times but all that showed up was some arthritis in the joint. That's what they figured the pain was from. Everything moves at a snails pace when you're on disability/welfare and medicare medicaid is footing the bills. I think they should sue the train too for the cost of the second surgery.
