  Hansol 900P monitor

Hi Guys

I wonder if anyone can help

I have had a Hansol Monitor 19" on my AMD XP 2600+, Windows XP for 10 years
The monitor is excellent
Recently I connected it to my Sony Viaio VPCEB1EOE (Windows 7)
It worked fine

Then the Viaio went into power saving mode, and now the monitor will not switch on

I have disconnected it , re-booted the computer - no effect

There is a Power save mode on the Monitor, but you should be able to just "Press any Key" and it comes out of it - but no avail

The only indication I have is now after it has been switched off for a while, and then I switch it on, the LED behind the ON/ OFF switch flickers twice then goes out

I believe that the Viaio has put it into power save mode, but I cannot get it out of said mode

I cannot see any "RE-SET" button

Any ideas Guys - I would be appreciative, as I now have no monitor for the AMD tower unit which I still use

Sounds to me like it's time for a new monitor.

It is said that when it comes to life, those who feel see it as a tragedy. Those who think see it as a comedy.
