Hi Guys

My work wants me to setup a Wireless network over distance of 120 meters from one building to another.

Now they already have a Wireless router and its brand new..think its a billion.Im going to hook up an antenna on that one and point it to the other antenna which will be exactly the same antenna accept it will have the AP "NE-DAP1360" from D-Link

This is the antennas I will be using

But I dont know of the 2 wireless AP/Routers will work together. Is it hard to set up these things to work as Bridges for one another?Cause my understanding is that I need 2 Wireless Routers/APs and just hook the antennas up to it an point them in the same direction? Then do some config?
Whats the settings to make them work together and would different brands be an Issue?
Or rather...What should the APs SUPPORT in order for me to be able to do this?.

Thanks allot and regards.

You could use wireless repeaters... which would be hokey as is using "can-tennas" to try and get the signal there. The "right" way to extend your LAN that far is to use fibre optic cables, if that is an option.

Well these antennas are Legit though. Not Can-tenas. Fiber is to expensive.
All I need to know is how to set up the routers so the one would work as a gateway for the other one and if Different Makes of Wifi APs will affect whether they will work together.
