  Can't see same workgroup computers
 Date Written
joe mou Apr 29, 2013, 04:34am EDT Report Abuse
Good day all,

PC1 (Windows XP), PC2 (Windows XP),
PC3 (Windows 7), PC4 (Windows 7)
- Connected all to a wireless router;
- Same Workgroup
- All C drives are shared and with full permissions;

When I click on Network, I can't see any of those PCs!!

Please advise.

Thank you

Dear all,

Just solved the problem;
I had to make the network 'trusted' in my internet security application (Kaspersky).

It is good to hear that you solved it on your own. Generally, internet connectivity and network sharing devices work functions are curbed by all leading antivirus softwares. So, disabling the antivirus option for few minutes will let us know on solving the connectivity issue on the very first go. Afterwards appropriate configurations will do the trick.
