Just read this....

"Need for Speed: Rivals Announced

Hot off the presses, Electronic Arts and Ghost Games have officially announced Need for Speed: Rivals, the next installment in their critically-acclaimed racing series. Slated for release on November 19th, the game is being built on the Frostbite 3 engine and will feature a new "AllDrive" system, which seamlessly integrates singleplayer and multiplayer into one mode. Here's a little snippet from the press release:

"The Need for Speed franchise has been an industry leader bringing social competition to the forefront in games," said Marcus Nilsson, Executive Producer, Ghost Games. "For the first time, players will have the freedom to seamlessly go from single player to co-op to multiplayer. In Need for Speed Rivals we are creating one game experience with one progression, where the freedom to play with friends is more fluid and accessible than ever before."

What a pile of crap those twats from EA talk. It's the same spiel every fooking time.

Another rant, is when a game is due for release, STOP showing us CGi Sequences. They bore thes**t out of us (well me at least).

Personally, I think the series started to die when EA took it over (as with everything else they've touched IMO). I think NFSU and NFSU2 were the last good games in the series, but then it all went horribly Pete Tong :|

~ The manual said "Requires Windows '95 or better" I installed Linux!

Well said john and rhort.

EA really do take the p**s. Mate works for Slightly Mad Studios who done Shift 1 and 2, and the contract was for 3 games of Shift. That company nearly folded because they held back on other contracts for those Shift games. EA is ruthless
